Initial reports suggested a possible trailer debut during the Super Bowl. However, a now-altered press release from Good Morning America (GMA) hinted at a potential premiere next week, February 4, 2025. The GMA schedule initially listed "the debut of the 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' movie trailer" for Tuesday's show, but this mention has since been removed.

A tweet from Agents of Fandom highlights the removal of the trailer announcement from the GMA schedule. While a trailer is expected soon given the film's approaching release, the GMA appearance would have been an unexpected, albeit logical, choice given ABC's ownership by Disney.

Plot details remain scarce, but the cast has been confirmed: Pedro Pascal as Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing, and Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom. The latter casting is particularly intriguing, sparking speculation about the connection between Tony Stark and Doctor Doom.

With months remaining until the Fantastic Four premiere and the commencement of Phase Six, Marvel fans still have Captain America: Brave New World and Thunderbolts to look forward to as Phase Five concludes.
