F1 The Movie stormed the box office with a $55.6 million domestic opening and $88.4 million internationally, delivering a robust $144 million global debut weekend. In contrast, newcomer M3GAN 2.0 faltered with just $17.158 million worldwide, marking a steep decline from its predecessor.

Featuring Brad Pitt performing high-speed F1 racing stunts, F1 The Movie has become Apple's rare theatrical success, outpacing their previous releases like Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon and Ridley Scott's Napoleon.

IGN rated F1: The Movie 7/10, praising it as "a supercharged sports film that excels beyond genre conventions during its 156-minute runtime, delivering thrilling race sequences that ultimately cross the finish line in style."

Blumhouse's M3GAN 2.0 opened weakly with $10.2 million domestically and $6.958 million overseas, suggesting the original's $180 million global phenomenon in December 2022 may have been unrepeatable.

IGN's 6/10 review noted: "While M3GAN 2.0 stumbles in its shift toward sci-fi action, the murderous doll's razor-sharp humor and lethal dance moves remain the undisputed highlights."

Disney celebrates the live-action Lilo & Stitch's rapid $946 million haul after six weekends, poised to surpass $1 billion as summer vacations begin.
