Only a handful of fishing rods in Fisch are freely obtainable through quests. The Tides of Gold update introduced a new free rod, but acquiring it demands significant time and in-game currency. This guide details how to obtain the Rod of the Exalted One, a free but challenging reward.

Locating The Keeper's Secret

The journey begins with finding The Keeper's Secret, a hidden location on a base island. Access is free. Navigate to Mushgrove Swamp. From the Shipwright NPC, head straight across the island. Upon reaching tall rocks, turn left. You'll spot a visually distinct, darker-colored fake wall. Proceed cautiously through this wall; the cave is small, containing only an elevator and a perilous drop shaft. Avoid falling down the shaft by carefully using the elevator to reach The Keeper's Secret, where seven color-coded pedestals await.

Solving The Keeper's Secret Puzzle

Seven uniquely mutated Enchant Relics must be placed on the pedestals:

• Greedy Relic
• Translucent Relic
• Atlantean Relic
• Crystalized Relic
• Hexed Relic
• Mosaic Relic
• Fossilized Relic

Acquiring these requires purchasing Relics from the Merlin NPC and appraising them during Mutation Surge events – a costly endeavor. Once all correctly mutated Relics are positioned, you'll receive the Rod of the Exalted One and three Exalted Relics.
