"Event Horizon: Dark Descent - A Long-Awaited Movie Prequel"

After nearly three decades since its initial theatrical release, Paul W.S. Anderson's cult classic, Event Horizon, is set to expand its universe with a new prequel. IDW Publishing has announced Event Horizon: Dark Descent, a gripping five-issue comic book series that delves into the chilling events leading up to the iconic film. This series promises to unravel the mysterious fate of the original crew aboard the Event Horizon ship.

Dark Descent is masterfully penned by Christian Ward, known for his work on Batman: City of Madness, and illustrated by Tristan Jones, celebrated for Aliens: Defiance. The vibrant colors are brought to life by Pip Martin of That Texas Blood fame, while the cover art boasts contributions from Ward, Jeffrey Alan Love, Martin Simmonds, and Joshua Hixson.
