Embark on an Epic Adventure in 'Wuthering Waves' Latest Update

This guide details the "The Last Knight" side quest in Honkai: Star Rail's Wuthering Waves region. This quest, while less grand than the main storyline, offers a unique perspective on life outside Ragunna City and provides valuable rewards.

The Last Knight is unlocked after completing Chapter 2 of the main storyline ("What Yesterday Wept, Today Doth Sing"). It's recommended to finish the main questline before exploring Rinascita extensively, as many side quests are locked behind Chapter 2, Act 3 completion.

Starting the Quest

Locate Cosimo in Egla Town, Whisperwind Haven. He's usually found near the first house by the main road, marked by a blue quest marker.

The Night Reveries

This involves participating in a performance honoring a legendary knight. Defeat the Mad Knight, who appears only at night (18:00 to 06:00), near the town's central pool. This enemy isn't particularly challenging.

Mimic Chests

After defeating the Mad Knight, travel to the tallest tower and then to Carlow's location (quest marker). Interact with the large purple flower to be transported to an area with chests. The first three are genuine; in the next set, only the second chest (middle-left) is real. Defeat the mimic chests after opening the correct one.

The Knight's Trail and The Strange Scent

Follow quest markers, speaking with NPCs. After conversing with Mr. Millkeeper, follow the scent uphill to encounter a unique Chop Chop with invulnerable Leftless and Rightless. A Questless Knight Echo is highly recommended for this fight due to its parry and stun capabilities.

Mr. Millkeeper reveals the "legendary knight" was a fabrication, leading Carlow to flee.

Finding Carlow

Find Carlow in Egla Town during the day. He'll be challenged by knights, prompting a duel and concluding the quest. You'll receive Union XP, Astrites, and resources upon completion.
