Dune: Awakening is gearing up for its launch with an eagerly anticipated large-scale beta weekend. On April 25, Funcom announced on their official website that they are dedicating a weekend to a global beta test for Dune: Awakening. Alongside this announcement, they unveiled a captivating new trailer that showcases some of the game's cinematic cutscenes and story snippets.

The beta test is set to welcome a significant number of new players and, unlike previous closed betas, will not be bound by an NDA. This means players can freely share their experiences and even stream their gameplay online. The official post states, "With access to the first 20 hours of the game and most of Act 1 of the story, you will get a taste of both spice and story."
