This animated series, a collaboration between Castlevania showrunner Adi Shankar and Legend of Korra studio Studio Mir, was first announced back in 2018. The eight-episode first season will showcase Studio Mir's renowned animation style, honed on projects like The Legend of Korra and X-Men '97.

While plot specifics remain shrouded in mystery, the teaser suggests a focus on Dante, likely drawing inspiration from the events of the first three Devil May Cry games. Interestingly, Dante will be voiced by Johnny Yong Bosch, known for voicing Nero in the video game franchise.

The last mainline entry in the Devil May Cry saga, Devil May Cry 5, launched in 2019 to widespread acclaim. It marked a triumphant return to form for the series, following the 2013 release of DmC: Devil May Cry. Considered a top-tier action game, Devil May Cry 5 is highly recommended, especially for fans of titles like Ninja Gaiden Black 2. Read our full review here.
