The Peeper is a stealthy ceiling-dwelling monster that's hard to detect due to its random spawning locations across the map. This giant eyeball remains closed until you step into its range, at which point it opens and locks your gaze, drawing you in and dealing two points of damage to your HP every second you're caught in its sight. While the Peeper's damage output is relatively low, ranking it among the least dangerous monsters, its disorienting effect can be a significant obstacle, especially if you're trying to avoid other threats.

When under the Peeper's gaze, your point of view zooms in on the eyeball, making it difficult to navigate your surroundings or escape from other enemies. To counter this, always stay vigilant, as the Peeper can appear anywhere. Plan your movements so you have a clear path to retreat. The best strategy is to move around a corner or through a door. If possible, close the door behind you; it's challenging but feasible. If you're with a teammate, have them shut the door for you, breaking the Peeper's line of sight. The key is to keep moving and stay composed.
