DC Unveils New Batman: Hush 2 Art

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 12,2025

2025 is shaping up to be a monumental year for DC Comics, and few projects loom larger than the highly anticipated Batman: Hush 2. It's a significant event: DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, is taking the reins of a monthly Batman comic. Launching in March's Batman #158, this storyline serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed Hush saga (2002-2004).

DC has unveiled an extended preview of Batman #158, along with early looks at Batman #159 and a showcase of the numerous variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, if you prefer). Explore the full preview in the slideshow gallery below:

While DC has released several Hush-related storylines since the original concluded, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first to reunite the original creative team. Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee return, joined once again by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Hush 2 builds upon the recent epilogue in Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition. The Dark Knight has uncovered evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their final confrontation, setting the stage for a new mystery as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with issue #158 hitting shelves March 26th. It's worth noting that DC will subsequently relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a new costume, as writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez usher in a new era for the Dark Knight.
