DbD Junji Ito Collection Features Terrifying New Skins From Several of His Famous Works

Dead by Daylight's Terrifying Junji Ito Collection: Eight New Skins Unveiled!

The asymmetrical horror multiplayer game, Dead by Daylight (DbD), is thrilled to announce a chilling collaboration with legendary Japanese horror manga artist Junji Ito. This partnership brings eight terrifying new character skins inspired by Ito's iconic works to the game, creating the ultimate horror experience.

A Collection of Nightmares

For 40 years, Junji Ito has captivated audiences worldwide with his unique brand of surreal horror. Now, his chilling creations are brought to life in Dead by Daylight. The collection draws inspiration from several of Ito's most famous works, including "Tomie," "Hanging Balloons," and "Rumors."

The collection features skins for both Killers and Survivors. Killers receiving new skins include The Dredge, The Trickster, The Twins, The Spirit, and The Artist. The Spirit and The Artist will boast Legendary rarity skins, complete with unique audio and sound effects. Specifically, The Spirit will sport a Tomie skin, while The Artist will receive a Miss Fuchi (from "Rumors") skin. Survivors Yui Kimura, Yun-Jin Lee, and Kate Denson also join the fray with new terrifying looks.

Junji Ito himself was involved in bringing his characters to life in the game. In a video shared on Dead by Daylight's official X (formerly Twitter) account, Ito expressed his delight at seeing his creations adapted, commenting on how they became even more terrifying in their new digital form. He even took part in a gameplay session, playing as The Artist with her Miss Fuchi skin.

The Junji Ito Collection launches January 7th, 2025, for Dead by Daylight on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Prepare for a truly unforgettable horror experience.
