Days Gone Remastered: Enhanced PS5 Experience with New Modes and Features

Sony's State of Play February 2025 showcase revealed Days Gone Remastered, a revamped version of Bend Studio's post-apocalyptic adventure, launching on PlayStation 5 April 25th, 2025. This isn't just a simple upgrade; it's packed with new features designed to enhance the PS5 experience.

Key additions include a challenging permadeath mode, a speedrun mode for competitive players, a significantly improved photo mode, and expanded accessibility options. A new Horde Assault arcade mode provides intense action against larger-than-life Freaker hordes, offering a fresh take on Deacon St. John's fight for survival.

The upgrade path for existing PS4 owners is straightforward: a $10 upgrade to the PS5 Remastered version. Visual fidelity receives a boost, with options for Performance and Quality modes, further enhanced on the PS5 Pro. DualSense controller features, including haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, are fully integrated.

PC players aren't left out. The "Broken Roads" DLC, priced at $10, delivers the new modes, enhanced photo mode, and accessibility features to the PC version. DualSense support, however, remains exclusive to the PS5 version.

Pre-orders begin tomorrow, offering eight PSN avatars and five in-game unlocks as pre-order bonuses. New players can purchase Days Gone Remastered for $49.99.
