Dark Dome Unveils New Mystery Game

Dark Dome's ninth installment has arrived. Following their successful escape and mystery series – including The Girl in the Window, Beyond the Room, and Escape from the Shadows – the developers present another immersive psychological mystery titled Hidden Memories.

The game launched on Android shortly after its late March announcement. Maintaining Dark Dome's signature point-and-click escape mechanics, this entry introduces deeper psychological elements along with subtle references to their established universe.

Lucian's Forgotten Past

Players awaken as Lucian with complete memory loss in an unfamiliar environment filled with cryptic puzzles. Your task involves reconstructing memories shattered by something more sinister than ordinary amnesia.

As Lucian reconstructs his forgotten night through environmental clues, fragmented memories gradually return. A mysterious girl appears repeatedly in these flashes – potentially holding either the secret to escape or the reason for his confinement.

The setting of Hidden Town unfolds as a labyrinth of remorse, deception, and bizarre encounters. Series veterans will immediately recognize connections to previous Dark Dome games.

Gameplay emphasizes environmental interaction and logical reasoning through tapping, searching, and item combination. Some inventive puzzles require creative thinking – like modifying a firework with tape or crafting a makeshift eyeball from ink and a table soccer ball.

Optional Challenges Await

The game features discoverable phantoms – ten shadowy figures hidden throughout environments that require keen observation to spot.

Voodoo dolls mark unresolved spirits across your path. These unlock mini-games revealing their final moments and untold stories. Resolution may involve simply witnessing their history or solving lingering mysteries.

Longtime players will appreciate numerous connections to previous titles. Notably, character Delian makes his second appearance while Dr. Freyer appears on documentation. Familiar elements include the four-armed statue from Escape from the Shadows and Nowhere House's medallion puzzle.

Hidden Memories is available now via Google Play Store. For additional gaming updates, explore our coverage of RuneScape's latest 110 Crafting skilling expansion.
