Cow in Mario Kart World Eats Burgers, Steak

In a delightful departure from the usual news buzz, IGN's recent experience at a Nintendo event in New York has shed light on an amusing aspect of the newly announced Mario Kart World. The game introduces the Moo Moo Meadows Cow as a playable character, sparking a wave of excitement and creativity across the internet with fans creating memes and fanart of this once-background character.

However, an intriguing detail emerged from the Nintendo Direct 2 trailer, which showed Mario indulging in a burger. This led fans to ponder a rather unique question: Would Cow, a character representing a species typically associated with beef production, actually eat beef herself? The curiosity was palpable, and the internet buzzed with theories and humorous speculations.

At the Nintendo event, IGN confirmed that Cow can indeed partake in a variety of food items available at Yoshi's diner locations within the game. These diners operate like drive-thrus, where racers can grab take-out bags that may contain burgers, steak kebabs, pizza, donuts, and more. Surprisingly, Cow was observed consuming all these items, including the controversial burger and steak.

Interestingly, while other characters undergo costume changes upon consuming these food items, Cow appears unaffected, leading to further speculation. Is Cow enjoying these foods purely for taste? Or could there be an undisclosed power-up or benefit that Nintendo has yet to reveal? The possibility of these being vegetarian or plant-based alternatives like veggie burgers and Beyond meat kebabs also adds an intriguing twist to the mystery.

IGN attempted to get more clarity from Nintendo on this matter, but as of now, they have not responded. It's likely they're preoccupied with the ongoing event rather than sidetracked by what might seem like an eccentric inquiry.
