Cookie Run: Kingdom opens the Arcade Arena and Winter Night Campfire in its December update

Cookie Run: Kingdom’s December update has arrived, kicking off the holiday season with an unexpected twist. The Wicked Cookies have officially entered the Kingdom, bringing along a full Arcade Arena complete with rotating battle formats, seasonal rules, and surprisingly competitive gameplay for a mode centered around cookies throwing hands.

The Arcade Arena launches in four consecutive mini-seasons throughout December. Each phase introduces new team sizes, different eligible Cookies, and occasional chaos from Elphaba Cookie and Glinda Cookie, who headline this season’s modes. These themed events range from a 5v5 Epic-only brawl to a Legendary-tier showdown, culminating in a 7v7 Ultimate Clash where Wicked Cookies receive full Safeguard status.

The Arena also features its own progression system. Your tier resets with each new season, and rewards are determined by your climb before the tallying period locks matches. You’ll earn Arcade Arena Coins from victories to spend in a rotating shop that refreshes its inventory every season.

If that sounds intense, the other half of the update takes a more relaxed approach. Winter Night Campfire is a cozy cooking-and-timing minigame where you roast ingredients for visiting Cookies without burning everything to ash. Ingredients unlock as you level up your campsite, recipes become more complex over time, and a new chocolate item adds some extra fun.

New Special Costumes are also available for Lemon Cookie, Mercurial Knight Cookie, and Cloud Haetae Cookie, styled after classic Oz archetypes. If you obtain them, their stories unfold through Costume Gacha events running alongside Arena challenges and trade-focused missions designed to help you farm seasonal rewards.
