New Consumables Unveiled for Diablo 4 Season 5

Diablo IV Season 5 Leaked: New Consumables and Infernal Hordes Mode Unveiled!

Exciting news for Diablo IV players! Data mined from this week's Season 5 Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals the addition of four brand-new consumables, exclusive to the upcoming Infernal Hordes endgame mode. This roguelite-style mode throws players into waves of increasingly challenging enemies, demanding strategic choices and rewarding skillful survival.

These consumables, designed to enhance the Infernal Hordes experience, include:

  • Antipathy: A rare anointment boosting player resistance.
  • Blackblood: A common anointment improving a random core stat.
  • Vitriol: A magical anointment increasing damage over time.
  • Triune Anointment Cache: A new cache containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials.

Unlike standard consumables (healing potions, elixirs, and incense), these new anointments appear to be craftable, adding a new layer of strategic depth. The PTR, open until July 2nd, will allow players to experiment with these new items and discover crafting recipes, usage costs, and acquisition methods.

Infernal Hordes itself presents a unique challenge. Each 90-second enemy wave culminates in a choice of three modifiers to alter the subsequent run's difficulty and rewards. Abyssal Scrolls, similar to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir, offer an additional means of escalating the challenge. The harder the fight, the greater the potential loot.

Stay tuned as players delve into the PTR, uncovering further details about these exciting additions to Diablo IV Season 5.
