Conan the Barbarian Gameplay Trailer Unveiled for Mortal Kombat 1

Mortal Kombat 1 has unveiled two consecutive character spotlights. Yesterday's esports trailer teased the T-1000, but the Terminator isn't the immediate addition to the roster. Instead, Conan the Barbarian takes center stage, debuting next week for premium edition owners with a newly released gameplay trailer.

Conan's gameplay showcases a powerful, heavy-hitting style. His attacks appear devastating, though his lack of agility and speed may be a trade-off for his extended sword reach. It will be fascinating to see how he fares against characters like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander.

While visually reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan's fatality lacks the spectacular flair of some other MK1 finishers. His acid-drowning technique is somewhat underwhelming. However, compelling gameplay is more than just flashy fatalities, and Conan promises an engaging experience.
