This guide helps you complete the challenging Master Schindel's Toys quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. This side quest becomes available during the main story's "Into the Underworld" mission.

The quest begins by locating Goatskin, a key informant. You'll find him by speaking to the Bathhouse Madam, then Adam, who reveals Goatskin's theft. To find the elusive Goatskin, follow Udo, a bathhouse patron, home. Goatskin will attempt to rob Udo in a back alley, providing the opportunity for a confrontation.

During this encounter, you can acquire a map of Kuttenberg's underground. If persuasion fails, bribery works. The map, found on a corpse at the Kuttenberg gallows (southeastern city), is crucial for navigating the labyrinthine underground.

To efficiently retrieve the stolen items, locate the northern ladder leading into the Kuttenberg Underground. Bring a torch; it's dark down there! Follow a path of mostly left turns, navigating a drop-down section, until you reach a barrel containing the stolen book and astrolabe.

Return to Master Schindel (usually northeast of the city during the day) to complete the quest. He'll reward you for your efforts, and even share some knowledge about the recovered astrolabe and planetary movements.

Completing this brief side quest provides reputation points and rewards.
