Clash of Clans is set to ditch Troop Training times in major overhaul

Clash of Clans is about to undergo a massive transformation: troop training times are being completely eliminated! Prepare for near-instant army deployment and lightning-fast battles. However, this means it's now or never for your Training Potions and Treats – use them before they're removed!

While Clash of Clans remains a legendary mobile game, its age is undeniable. Supercell recognizes this and has been steadily modernizing the game. The upcoming removal of troop, spell, and siege unit training times represents the most significant change yet.

Get ready for cheers (and perhaps a few tears)! Following the removal of training costs in 2022, training times are next on the chopping block.

Training Potions and Treats will soon vanish from in-app purchases and chest rewards. You can still find them in the Trader and Gold Pass for now, but act quickly—they'll be removed and converted to Gems at the end of the month!

To help you adapt to this change, Supercell introduces "Match Anytime." This new feature lets you attack a snapshot of another player's base when no real-time opponents are available. You'll still earn rewards, but the defending player won't lose anything if defeated. This mechanic, already in use for Clan Wars and Legend League, becomes standard.
