Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has launched its first update since its debut. In a Steam blog post dated April 30, Sandfall Interactive announced that Hotfix 1.2.2 is now available, tackling multiple bugs and refining localization.

The update addresses in-game issues, including a soft-lock triggered by stunning the Grown Bourgeon, world map glitches, and other minor problems. It also includes refinements to French, German, and Chinese translations for specific game elements.

The developers are actively working on additional fixes and enhancements, with more details to be shared soon. While these updates improve gameplay, fans are eagerly anticipating larger content expansions, such as potential DLC.

Recently, the lead writer for Expedition 33 responded to fan inquiries on Instagram about possible DLC. While no confirmation was provided, she expressed optimism, noting the game’s success increases the likelihood of future content.

In a Twitter (X) post on April 30, Broche encouraged players to explore The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy, saying, “After your adventure in Expedition 33, dive into The Hundred Line, a stellar turn-based RPG released last week, crafted with passion by a talented team.”

This followed a tweet from The Hundred Line’s co-director, Kazutaka Kodaka, who praised Expedition 33 on April 28, stating, “Once you’ve completed Expedition 33, this Japanese gem will be ready for you!” Kodaka continued to promote both titles, urging fans to experience these exceptional RPGs.

Despite competing with major RPG releases like Expedition 33 and Oblivion Remastered, The Hundred Line has garnered “Very Positive” Steam reviews. Meanwhile, Expedition 33 holds the title of 2025’s highest-rated game, with over 1 million copies sold in just three days.
