Sony Pictures has officially set a thrilling release date for Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc, which is slated to slice its way into US theaters on October 29, 2025. The exciting news broke during Sony's CinemaCon presentation, where they disclosed securing the worldwide theatrical distribution rights, excluding Japan, for this much-anticipated anime film. Fans outside of Japan can mark their calendars for September 24, 2025, as over 80 countries will get to experience the film first, while Toho will handle its release in Japan on September 19, 2025.

The announcement of the Chainsaw Man movie in December 2023 set the stage for this sequel to the acclaimed 2022 MAPPA-produced anime series. The story continues to follow Denji, a young protagonist who gains a new lease on life by merging with a devil named Pochita. This unique bond transforms Denji, granting him the extraordinary power to sprout chainsaws from various parts of his body, propelling him beyond his humble beginnings as a simple Chainsaw Man.

Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc will spotlight the introduction of Reze, a pivotal character from the original manga. Directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and penned by Hiroshi Seko, the film promises to captivate fans with its storytelling. The entire original voice cast from the anime series will return to lend their voices, ensuring a seamless transition to the big screen.
