Brave Frontier Versus, a Digital Trading Card Game, Opens Pre-Registration on Android

gumi has launched pre-registration for Brave Frontier Versus, the newest addition to the beloved Brave Frontier franchise. Originally released in 2013, this iconic series is making a comeback with a fresh twist. Rather than following its traditional JRPG roots, the upcoming title will be a digital trading card game.

Still captures that classic summoner spirit!

In Brave Frontier Versus, matches are swift and intense. Each battle lasts for just five turns, eliminating long waits while opponents take their time.

Players can deploy multiple units starting from the very first turn. With cards reviving every round, strategies remain dynamic and ever-changing. Having up to six units on the field simultaneously creates a balanced experience that blends offensive power with defensive tactics.

The franchise’s iconic Brave Bursts make a return as well. This time, they are enhanced by Manifestation Cards that activate during the third and fifth turns.

Decks consist entirely of character cards, ensuring newcomers can jump right in without navigating complex mechanics. Check out the latest trailer below for more details.
