Bethesda to Unveil Oblivion Remake Tomorrow

Author:Kristen Update:May 07,2025

After months of speculation and leaks, it appears that Bethesda is on the verge of officially announcing the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is scheduled for tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, and fans can tune in via YouTube and Twitch to catch all the details live.

The official Bethesda Twitter account teased the announcement with an image featuring a prominent "IV" and a background that strongly resembles iconic art from Oblivion, leaving little doubt about what's coming.

Rumors of an Oblivion remake have circulated for years, gaining momentum with a leaked Bethesda release schedule from 2020 during the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023. Although the document suggested a remaster for fiscal year 2022, the timeline had passed, leading many to believe the project was abandoned. However, a fresh leak in January this year indicated that Bethesda, with assistance from Virtuos, was actively working on a full remake. The most recent leaks from Virtuos' website last week, including images of the game in development, further solidified these rumors.

If these leaks hold true, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion Remastered will be available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation platforms. The game is expected to offer a Deluxe Edition, complete with the iconic horse armor, in addition to the standard version.

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for what promises to be an exciting confirmation and more detailed insights into this long-awaited remake.
