"Battlefield 6 Early Footage Leaks Online"

Author:Kristen Update:Apr 17,2025

Recent leaks have surfaced featuring early gameplay footage of EA's highly anticipated next Battlefield game. According to a report by TheGamer, a Twitch user named anto_merguezz streamed content from EA's exclusive Battlefield Labs playtest, which was designed for a select group of players to test early game builds and provide feedback for developers. Although anto_merguezz has since removed the clips from their channel, the footage has been captured and shared across various platforms, notably Reddit.

The leaked footage supports previous hints from Vince Zampella about the game's "modern" setting, differentiating it from the historical and futuristic themes of other Battlefield titles. Viewers were treated to scenes of intense firefights and glimpses of the game's signature destructible environments. The positive reactions from the Battlefield community suggest a promising reception, especially following the lukewarm response to Battlefield 2042 at its launch.

Last month's official unveiling provided some insights into what fans can expect from the next Battlefield installment. Excitingly, it will feature the return of a traditional, single-player, linear campaign, a move welcomed by those disappointed by its absence in Battlefield 2042's multiplayer focus.

EA is targeting a release for this new Battlefield title within their fiscal year 2026, spanning from April 2025 to March 2026. As the launch approaches, more official details are expected to be revealed. With leaks already circulating, EA may need to expedite their plans to keep the excitement under wraps until an official showcase.

IGN has reached out to EA for a statement regarding the leaks and further information on the upcoming Battlefield game.
