Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang! Mecha Weka, the game's developers, have just released their most extensive update yet—the 'Trans Edition.' This massive update introduces a plethora of new content that will enhance both single-player and multiplayer experiences.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The update brings three new Cruisers to the battle: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith. Alongside these, two new Buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new Units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available for players to command.

For those looking to personalize their existing Cruisers, three new Bodykits are introduced: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, providing fresh customization options.

New choices for Skirmishes include Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime. PvP matches now feature an exciting countdown start and aircraft trails that match the player's colors, enhancing the visual and strategic elements of the game.

Significant balancing changes have been implemented. The Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate have seen an impressive increase from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health has been boosted from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret's damage has increased from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, adding a new layer of strategy to its use.

Visually, the game has been enhanced with underwater transparency, allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea's shading has been improved, and the visual effects of Cruiser and Ship deaths have been upgraded for a more immersive experience.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently released major updates annually. The Trans Edition brings even more excitement with additional SideQuests and the introduction of a mysterious Battlefortress hidden somewhere in the South Pacific.

Set in the year 2732 on a Flooded Earth, the game's world is inhabited solely by robots engaged in a wage war. Players control their own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to combat a formidable array of enemies.
