Baldur's Gate 3 offers a wealth of romance options, but some, like the encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress, are easily missed. This brief romance unfolds during a pivotal moment in Act III, making it a hidden gem for many players. This guide will detail how to find Naoise and navigate this unique romantic encounter.

Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3

### Reaching Sharess' Caress in Act III:

To meet Naoise, you must progress to the early stages of Act III. While traveling towards Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your first visit will involve meeting Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel located east of the bridge leading into Baldur's Gate. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point for direct access to Sharess' Caress.

Locating the Nymph's Grotto:

Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, a chamber on the second floor. Look for a door with a green light and ivy—it's locked, but easily bypassed with a lockpicking skill check of 10 or higher.

### Interacting with Naoise:

Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier, engaged in an intimate moment. Interrupting them will trigger a confrontation with Jara. Choose dialogue options carefully; selecting "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" initiates a sequence where Jara transforms into a Mindflayer. Defeat her to proceed.

Naoise then reveals her unusual attraction to Mindflayers. Avoid judgmental responses; "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset" works well. A successful Insight check reveals her receptiveness to romance. Following with "That creature aroused you, didn't it?", "What did you have in mind?", and "Close your eyes and listen" leads to the romantic scene.

This romance is entirely mental. Naoise asks you to choose what you "will be," offering options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or declining the encounter. Selecting "Contented" (in this example) initiates a brief romantic scene. Note that this encounter is a one-time event. Subsequent visits will yield only a platonic interaction. Even with an existing relationship (like with Karlach in this example), this encounter seems to have no negative consequences. Shadowheart will grant you the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point after the encounter.

Successfully romancing Naoise grants the Rapture boon, providing a passive +1d6 bonus to most ability checks.
