"It's about giving players constant opportunities to express and explore their character's alignment," Patel explains. She further notes the game's design encourages players to reflect on their engagement: "When am I most invested? When am I curious? When does my interest flag? What keeps me engaged moment to moment?"

Player choices and outcomes are directly influenced by exploration and discovery within the richly detailed world of Eora, particularly in The Living Lands, where political power is fiercely contested. "I've enjoyed weaving together the narratives of these intertwined worlds," Patel adds.

Players assume the role of an Aedyran Empire envoy, tasked with investigating a spiritual plague while simultaneously pursuing their own political ambitions.
