Kai: Meet Kai, a formidable ex-mercenary with a surprising tender side. Encountered early in Dawnshore, near Paradis, Kai joins your party after assisting you in finding the Ambassador and Cleric. A tank-like combatant, Kai excels at both absorbing and dealing significant damage. His fire abilities prove invaluable for clearing obstacles and uncovering hidden treasures.

Kai's Upgradable Abilities:

• Fire and Ire (Active): A powerful blunderbuss shot, stunning and taunting a single enemy.
• Unbending Defense (Active): Regenerates health and increases damage reduction.
• Leap of Daring (Active): A powerful leap, stunning and taunting nearby enemies.
• Second Win (Passive): Revives with 50% health upon reaching zero.

Marius: Marius, a skilled hunter and tracker, is your next recruitable companion, found in Dawnshore. His history with Kai adds intrigue to their interactions. Join him in a bar brawl or talk your way out of trouble to add him to your party. Marius' expertise shines through in his combat style and his ability to uncover hidden loot and crafting materials.

Marius' Upgradable Abilities:

• Binding Roots (Active): Roots an enemy in place.
• Heart Seeker (Active): A piercing shot that ignores obstacles.
• Shadow Step (Active): Vanishes and reappears to attack an enemy (up to 3 times).
• Wounding Shots (Passive): Attacks inflict bleeding.

Giatta: Journey to the Emerald Stair Region and the Fior settlement to recruit Giatta, a powerful animancer. Her magic plays a crucial role in the main quest, offering support in combat through healing, shielding, and buffing allies. Her Spectral Jolt ability activates Essence Generators, opening new paths for exploration.

Giatta's Upgradable Abilities:

• Purification (Active): Heals all allies.
