The developers at miHoYo (HoYoverse) have enriched the storyline by unveiling more about Astra Yao's past through an engaging animated short. This narrative focuses on her participation in a benefit concert aimed at commemorating a cavernous disaster. The story captures a poignant moment after a brief, uncomfortable exchange with a journalist, transitioning into a flashback of dramatic and revealing past events.

Astra Yao, known for her enchanting voice as a singer and her strategic prowess as an on-air support, takes center stage in the first character banner of Zenless Zone Zero's 1.5 update. Players can also look forward to spinning for Evelyn Chevalier in the second banner of this update.
