A World Gone Wrong

Extinction serves as the thrilling conclusion to the ARK saga, offering a unique and intense gameplay experience—especially for those who have conquered Scorched Earth and Aberration.

The planet is nearly dried up, resources are scarce, and survival demands creativity. You play as a lone survivor unraveling the mystery behind the catastrophic events that led to the creation of the ARK system itself.

Expect a chaotic world overrun with Element-infused creatures, both organic and robotic. Among them, terrifying Rex variants patrol the wasteland, making every encounter unpredictable and dangerous.

Alongside the release of the new map, the developers have rolled out several quality-of-life updates. A new Thick Skin insulation buff has been added to aid in survival scenarios.

In multiplayer PVE environments, certain creatures will now move from their stationary positions to discourage camp camping and griefing tactics. Additionally, the number of light sources you can place has been limited to prevent cluttered or spammy base builds.
