When Is Applin Debuting in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars for the Sweet Discoveries event, starting on April 24th at 10:00 a.m. and concluding on April 29th at 8:00 p.m. This is your chance to encounter Applin and embark on its evolution journey. To evolve Applin into Flapple, you'll need 200 Applin Candies and 20 Tart Apples. For Appletun, the requirements are 200 candies and 20 Sweet Apples. And for its final evolution to Hydrapple via Dipplin, make sure you gather the necessary resources.

Keep an eye out for Tart Apples, Sweet Apples, and Applin itself in the wild. These can be found more frequently around Mossy Lure Modules. So, make the most of these locations to gather your evolution items.

Applin is a unique Pokémon that spends its life inside an apple, cleverly hiding from its natural predators, bird Pokémon, by masquerading as a simple fruit. It's one of the cutest additions to Pokémon GO's roster.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, you can also snag some new avatar items from the shop, including an Applin Headband and an Applin Apron. Plus, enjoy the event bonus of 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, making your efforts even more rewarding.
