Apple's just unveiled the 2025 MacBook Air, available in 13-inch and 15-inch models, both boasting the powerful M4 chip. This upgrade makes an already popular laptop even better, offering a significant performance boost over its predecessor. Choose your perfect size: the 13-inch model starts at $999 (a $100 discount from the previous generation), while the 15-inch model starts at $1199. The M4 chip delivers a noticeable performance and longevity improvement, featuring a 10-core CPU, 8-core GPU, 16GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage as standard. For power users, configurations with up to a 10-core GPU, 32GB of RAM, and 2TB of storage are available.

Beyond the power upgrade, a striking new Sky Blue color joins the lineup, a subtly tinted silver. Midnight (black), Starlight (gold), and Silver remain available. Space Gray is discontinued, but Midnight and Silver offer similar alternatives. Your chosen color will match the included MagSafe charging cable.

The integrated "Center Stage" camera now boasts a 12-megapixel sensor, promising significantly improved video calls.

While not strictly necessary for existing MBA users, Apple claims the M4 is twice as fast as the M1 MacBook Air, making it a worthwhile upgrade. Compared to the latest Intel-based MacBooks, Apple boasts a 23x speed improvement.
