Starting today, Dell is offering an unbeatable deal on the Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC, now equipped with the latest GeForce RTX 5080 GPU for just $2,399.99 shipped. This price point is exceptionally competitive, especially given that other brands have been steadily increasing their prices since the RTX 50 series launch in January. This Alienware Aurora R16 gaming PC is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 7 265F CPU and a GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, complemented by 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The Intel Core Ultra 7 265F, part of the Meteor Lake family, offers a max turbo frequency of 5.3GHz, 20 cores, and a 30MB cache. It's cooled efficiently by a 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler, and the system is supported by a robust 1,000W 80PLUS Platinum power supply.

The RTX 5080 is one of the three new Blackwell graphics cards launched recently, which are notoriously hard to find. In our Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 FE review, Jackie notes that "If you already have a high-end graphics card from the last couple of years, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 might not offer a significant enough performance boost over the RTX 4080. However, the extra frames from DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Generation do enhance the visual experience in supported games. For gamers upgrading from older GPUs, the RTX 5080 delivers a substantial performance upgrade, especially when utilizing Nvidia's AI enhancements."
