AFK Journey Teams Up with Fairy Tail for May Launch

Exciting news for fans of AFK Journey! The game is set to introduce its first-ever crossover event, and it's going to be nothing short of magical. Teaming up with the beloved Japanese manga series, Fairy Tail, created by Hiro Mashima, this collaboration promises to bring a fresh wave of adventure and excitement to the game.

Who Are the Guests in AFK Journey’s First Crossover with Fairy Tail?

The crossover event will introduce two iconic Fairy Tail characters into the world of AFK Journey: Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. These characters will join the game as part of the newly introduced Dimensional faction, adding a unique twist to the gameplay.

Natsu Dragneel is set to arrive as an S-level character, fitting his fiery and unstoppable persona. Meanwhile, Lucy Heartfilia will be introduced as an A-level character, potentially making her more accessible to players. While their specific roles and classes remain under wraps, the addition of these characters is sure to shake up the game's meta and enhance the overall excitement.

When Is the Crossover Launching?

Mark your calendars for May 1st, 2025, as that's when the AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collaboration will launch on Android devices. Unlike its predecessor, AFK Arena, AFK Journey is a 3D open-world RPG. This means players can expect to see Natsu and Lucy in stunning 3D, rather than the traditional flat anime-style images, adding a new layer of immersion to the game.

Currently, AFK Journey is running an event called Justice Descends, where you can meet the new Celestial Hero, Athalia, and collect Stellar Crystals and Temporal Essences.
