Microsoft has announced that eight games will be departing from its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. The titles set to leave include Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is a robust online gaming service accessible on both Xbox and PC platforms. Subscribers can stream games directly on smart devices and consoles, enjoy new releases on day one, and delve into a vast catalog of high-quality games. The following eight games are scheduled to be removed from this catalog:

Games leaving Xbox Game Pass in May are:

  • Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons
  • Chants of Sennaar
  • Dune: Spice Wars
  • Hauntii
  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Little Kitty, Big City
  • Planet of Lana
  • The Big Con

Microsoft plans to unveil the second wave of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup shortly after these games exit the service.

In other news, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members recently received a new perk: the ability to stream select games directly to their consoles without needing to download them. This feature was detailed in an Xbox Wire post, which highlighted that Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog, as well as certain owned games, on Xbox Series X, S, and Xbox One consoles through cloud streaming. Previously, this option was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, but this marks its debut on consoles.

For fans of the Grand Theft Auto series, the recent news that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed until May 2026 might prompt a return to GTA 5. Fortunately, GTA 5 Enhanced is now accessible on both Xbox Game Pass and Game Pass for PC, marking its first appearance on PC Game Pass.
