HoYoverse has unveiled the exciting details of Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.6 update, titled 'Among the Forgotten Ruins,' set to launch on March 12th. This update promises to shake things up in New Eridu with a rich narrative and new characters that are sure to captivate players.

What’s Happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.6?

In this latest chapter, Proxies find themselves embroiled in a high-stakes auction orchestrated by the Mayor, tasked with securing a mysterious artifact connected to the Sacrifice. However, the notorious phantom thief syndicate, Mockingbird, is determined to thwart the Mayor's plans. Amidst this chaos, other factions are also vying for the artifact, adding to the tension. Characters Hugo and Vivian add an extra layer of intrigue with their suspicious behavior, leaving players to question their true allegiances. Dive deeper into the story with the official trailer:

Version 1.6 introduces a new unit, Anby Demara, previously known as Soldier 0 and the leader of Silver Squad. She steps into the spotlight as an S-Rank Electric Attack Agent, wielding dual swords to deliver powerful Electric damage. Joining her is Trigger, an ace sniper from Obol Squad and an S-Rank Electric Stun Agent, who enters Sniper Mode to evade attacks and execute precise shots, enhancing team coordination with Quick Assists.

Some Are Making a Comeback

Returning characters include Pulchra Fellini, an A-Rank Physical Stun Agent representing the Sons of Calydon, alongside S-Rank Fire Anomaly Agent Burnice and S-Rank Ether Attack Agent Zhuyuan, who will have their rerun banners. The update also introduces Geppetto as the latest boss in Hollow Zero.

Players can test their skills with the new Difficulty VI in Battlefront Purge. The Shadow Operation mode in Hollow Zero adds dynamic special effects to each battle stage, such as boosting damage based on accumulated coins. Trigger's TV Schedule brings third-person sniper gameplay, allowing players to engage in real sniper missions. Additionally, the March On, Tiny Titan! event lets you control a Bangboo drone for unique challenges, while Little Knight’s Big Charge offers ten trials with a Bangboo, rewarding players with Pulchra as a playable agent.
