Warframe: 1999 obtient une mise à jour majeure en mars, surnommée "Techrot Encore", remplie de nouveaux contenus. La mise à jour présente le 60e Warframe, Temple, ainsi que quatre protoframes tout nouveaux. Mais ce n'est pas tout!

Techrot Encore présente également le Technocyte Coda, un nouvel adversaire de liche. Ce n'est pas n'importe quel ennemi; C'est le groupe de garçons On-Lyne, précédemment présenté dans le jeu du jeu, maintenant transformé en machines à tuer cybernétiques.

Pour lutter contre ces nouvelles menaces, les joueurs recevront quatre nouvelles armes Scaldra puissantes, offrant diverses options de combat. La mise à jour comprend également des raffinements du système romantique et de relations, une nouvelle peau cosmétique de luxe Gyre, et bien sûr, la guerre et les protoframes susmentionnés.
