Un monde reconstruit, pas en ruine

Contrairement aux attentes, le virus Necroa n'a pas sonné le glas de la fin du monde. Au lieu de cela, quelques personnes tenaces ont survécu et s’efforcent de reconstruire la civilisation. Dans After Inc., vous dirigez une colonie dans un paysage revitalisé et luxuriant, témoignage du remarquable rétablissement de la nature.

L'histoire se déroule des décennies après l'événement de quasi-extinction. Alors que la civilisation se rétablit lentement, les dangers persistent. Même si la menace zombie a diminué, elle n’est pas entièrement éradiquée. C'est la réalité qui suit Plague Inc.

Le jeu se déroule dans un Royaume-Uni post-apocalyptique au rendu époustouflant. Les joueurs doivent utiliser les ressources récupérées pour construire des fermes, des scieries et des logements, établissant ainsi des colonies prospères au milieu des ruines.

Plus qu'un simple constructeur de ville

After Inc. mélange magistralement stratégie de survie, gestion de ville et éléments rappelant les jeux 4X. Les joueurs recherchent des ressources, agrandissent leurs colonies et prennent des décisions éthiques difficiles : évaluer la valeur des enfants dans un monde aux ressources rares ou débattre pour savoir si un chien est un compagnon fidèle ou un repas potentiel.
