Méga évolution dévoilée pour Toucannon

Un passionné de Pokémon a imaginé une méga évolution pour le Toucannon de type Normal/Vol, partageant son concept créatif en ligne. La franchise Pokémon compte actuellement 48 méga évolutions ; 30 ont fait leurs débuts dans Pokémon X et Y (Génération VI), le reste étant introduit dans les remakes de 2014 de Pokémon Rubis et Saphir.

Les méga évolutions sont des transformations temporaires améliorant l'apparence, les statistiques et les capacités d'un Pokémon. Des Pokémon emblématiques comme Lucario, Mewtwo (avec deux formes Mega chacun) et Charizard font partie de ceux capables de cette puissante mise à niveau. Compte tenu de la vaste liste de plus de 1 000 Pokémon de la série, les méga-évolutions créées par les fans sont une entreprise commune et créative.

Sur le subreddit Pokémon, l'utilisateur Just-Drawing-Mons a dévoilé son design Mega Toucannon. Cet oiseau régional d'Alola, la forme évoluée de Pikipek et Trumbeak, fait l'objet d'une refonte visuelle importante. La modification la plus frappante est un changement radical de son bec, comportant un appendice en forme de lunette. Alors que les Méga-Évolutions officielles ajustent souvent les statistiques d'un Pokémon, Just-Drawing-Mons n'a pas spécifié de tels changements pour son Méga-Toucannon.

Just-Drawing-Mons comprend également une Méga Airmure (Acier/Vol, Génération II) et des refontes imaginatives de Pokémon existants. Un exemple notable est leur Alakazam de type Combat, une réimagination du meilleur type Psychique des 151 Pokémon originaux.

Mega Evolutions, précédemment présentées dans des spin-offs comme Pokémon GO, Pokémon Masters EX et Pokémon UNITE, devraient faire leur retour dans la série principale avec Pokémon Legends : Z-A. Situé à Lumiose City (région de Kalos, génération VI), ce titre Switch devrait sortir en 2025.

Parmi les Pokémon préférés des fans qui attendent avec impatience leurs méga évolutions figurent Dragonite (un puissant génération I non légendaire), les starters de génération VI (Chespin, Fennekin et Froakie) et Flygon.
