Le label Infogrames d'Atari acquiert la franchise Surgeon Simulator

Atari, à travers son label Infogrames relancé, a annoncé l'acquisition de la célèbre franchise Surgeon Simulator de tinyBuild Inc. Infogrames, décrite par Atari comme une branche d'édition de titres en dehors de sa marque principale, connaît une résurgence après une période de dormance . Cette acquisition marque une étape significative dans les efforts continus d'Atari pour reconstruire sa présence dans l'industrie du jeu vidéo.

Infogrames, un nom synonyme de développement et de distribution de jeux dans les années 80 et 90 (responsable de titres comme Alone in the Dark, Backyard Baseball et Putt- Putt série), a été rebaptisée Atari en 2003.
