Poseidon, the God of the Sea, is a control soul master who excels at using soul power and disruption to gain combat advantages. In non-competitive gameplay, your soul master can accumulate [Yang Yun] for Poseidon by not consuming soul power during their turn. [Yang Yun] significantly boosts the damage of agile attack or hidden weapon soul masters. Additionally, Poseidon can enhance his teammates' critical damage by using a percentage of his own critical damage, making him a vital asset on the battlefield.

In competitive gameplay, Poseidon can disrupt the enemy's action order with a certain probability, reversing the target's soul power recovery and action bar advancement effects, thus greatly reducing their damage output. He also applies [Soul Sorrow] to the enemy, forcing them to consume at least 1 point of soul power for any skill used, or else the skill fails and their turn ends. Under [Soul Sorrow], consecutive skill uses can lead to permanent [silencing], effectively countering soul masters with multiple passive attacks. When Poseidon has full soul power, his skills receive further enhancements.
