With CPU-Z, you'll get detailed insights into your device's System on Chip (SoC), including the name, architecture, and clock speed for each core. But that's just the beginning. The app also delivers crucial system information such as your device's brand and model, screen resolution, RAM, and storage capacity. For those concerned about battery health, CPU-Z reports on battery level, status, temperature, and capacity. Plus, it lists all the sensors your device is equipped with, giving you a complete picture of your hardware capabilities.

Requirements and Permissions

To run CPU-Z, your device must be running Android 2.2 or higher, starting from version 1.03. The app requires INTERNET permission for its online validation feature, which helps store your device's hardware specifications in a database for future reference. Additionally, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission is needed for gathering statistics.

Online Validation and Settings

Starting from version 1.04, CPU-Z offers an online validation feature. After validation, the app opens your unique validation URL in your default browser. Optionally, you can enter your email address to receive a reminder link. If CPU-Z crashes due to a bug, the settings screen will appear on the next run, allowing you to disable certain detection features to stabilize the application.

Bug Reporting and Support

What's New in Version 1.45

The latest update, released on October 15, 2024, brings support for a range of new processors. This includes ARM's Cortex-A520, Cortex-A720, Cortex-X4, Neoverse V3, and Neoverse N3. MediaTek's latest Helio series such as G35, G50, G81, G81 Ultra, G85, G88, G91, G91 Ultra, G99 Ultra, G99 Ultimate, and G100 are now supported. The update also covers MediaTek's Dimensity series, including 6300, 7025, 7200-Pro/7200-Ultra, 7300/7300X/7300-ENERGY/7300-Ultra, 7350, 8200-Ultimate, 8250, 8300/8300-Ultra, 8400/8400-Ultra, and 9200. Additionally, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 678, 680, and 685 are now recognized by CPU-Z.
