Dive into the timeless fun of Classic Tri Peaks solitaire card game, a captivating experience that blends strategy with simple pleasure. Known by various names like Three Peaks, Tri Towers, or Triple Peaks, this solitaire variant is played with a standard deck of cards. Your mission? To dismantle three towering peaks constructed from cards, clearing your path to victory.
The game kicks off with an intriguing setup—eighteen cards are placed face-down to create three pyramids, each with three tiers that cascade over each other. Above these majestic structures, ten cards are dealt face-up, ready to be played. The rest of the deck, consisting of twenty-four cards, forms the stock, with the top card flipped to initiate the waste pile.
To conquer the peaks, you'll move cards from the tableau to the waste pile. The trick? The card you select must be either one rank higher or one rank lower than the top card of the waste pile, regardless of suit. This creates a dynamic sequence (think 7-8-9-10-9-10-J-10-9-8, and so on) that keeps you engaged and strategizing. As you play, any face-down cards that are no longer covered by others get turned up, revealing new opportunities to clear the board.
