Want to avoid walking straight into a rainstorm? Check the rain radar and graph before you step outside to stay dry and prepared!

With the Buienradar app, you can start with a 3-hour or 24-hour rain radar forecast. The rain radar image will show you whether it's going to rain in the upcoming hours or the next day. Below the radar, you'll find the rain graph, which details exactly when it's going to rain and how much rainfall is expected (in millimeters). For a more detailed view of your city or town, simply click the magnifying glass icon to zoom in.

The Buienradar app is available for your Android phone and tablet. With the convenient widget, which includes the rain graph, you can check the forecast without even opening the app!

Exciting news: the Buienradar Wear OS app is back! Use it to view the rain radar, rain graph, and the forecast for the coming hour. Over the next few months, we'll be adding more features. Please note that the Buienradar Watch App is only available in the Google Play Store and supports wearables running Android Wear OS.

You can find personalized weather information in the "Komende uren in" (Next 8 hours weather prediction) table for your favorite location, even abroad. This includes hour-to-hour predictions for temperature, feeling temperature, rainfall in millimeters per hour, chance of rain, and wind force (in Beaufort).

Beyond thunderstorm, snow, sun, wind, and temperature maps, we offer additional data on wind chill, ground temperature, sun intensity, air pressure, gusts, visibility, and humidity, along with the exact times of sunrise and sunset for your location.

We also provide seasonal radar maps. In the summer, use our pollen and mosquito radars to get timely notifications about when to hang up your mosquito net. In winter, our snow radar informs you about winter precipitation, and our ground temperature map warns you about night frost.

In the "14-daagse" tab (14-day forecast), you'll find a graphical weather forecast for the next 14 days. Click on the "Lijst" tab for a detailed list view, offering an hourly forecast for the next 7 days and a daily average for the second week.

In the "Meldingen" tab, you can set up your own rain alert (free push notification) tailored to your daily schedule and favorite locations, ensuring you're never caught off guard by rain or storms.

If you prefer an ad-free experience, consider our Buienradar Premium plan for €4.99. You can easily find this option in "Instellingen" ("Settings") and then select "Neem Buienradar Premium" (Get Buienradar Premium).
